The aim of the module is to make teachers more adaptable and capable of using demonstrative activities to support the teaching and learning in the class. The module talks about the difficulty a teacher faces when students have misconceptions and doubts about the topic. Moreover, the strategy mentioned in the module provides a method, an insight; helping teachers to sequence their class in order to optimize the students learning and understanding of topics in mensuration through a suitable strategy. The formation of strategy and progression of strategy starts from identifying students pre-understanding or misconception about the topic like the confusion between units of measurement, application of the formula, etc. and hence, relating, resolving the problem through meaningful interventions and finally assessing students’ comprehension at the end of the session through engaging means.
