I like to teach in a new way, I have got many new methods of teaching from the Gurushala. Gurushala is a great platform for both teachers and students to innovate. Gurushala is handling such a difficult situation for teachers and students in which students did not speak in class and did not share anything with us, but now they also started sharing with us. Gurushala is a very useful platform. Content Library and Courses with different subject concepts are very good. This is very useful to teachers and students. Gurushala is always motivating me to create new things. Gurushala has provided me a platform where I get a lot of knowledge about teaching-learning process.
I am working as assistant teacher in Mahatma Gandhi Vidyalaya Mahuli taluka khanapur, Sangli. Various activities and various seminars are organized by Gurushala to make teachers techno-savvy. These seminars are very helpful to me. It is a very good platform for me to keep my knowledge up to date. Online class of mathematics, science and English taken for students are also helps students to increase their knowledge. Thank you so much to Gurushala team.
Salima teaches at the Elementary College for Women in Gilgit, Pakistan. She has helped create awareness amongst parents regarding girls’ education and its benefits. To engage her students, Salima believes that classroom activities should correspond closely to real-life situations. Salima has made a major contribution to teacher training, instructing more than 7,000 teachers across her province, and 8,000 more throughout Pakistan. If she were to win the prize, she says she would donate the money to a fund to support girls’ education in Pakistan.
I have also taken part in Talk About session theme is 'Co-education: Mixed-gender education' of Gurushala. This session is very useful and very interested it was just awesome I had a nice experience of discussion with the other participants. I am also applying some of the techniques shown in this app, it is very beneficial for the students as well as teachers.
