The pandemic has changed the face of education worldwide.

Schools globally have been impacted by coronavirus lockdowns. According to UNESCO, since the outbreak of COVID-19 began, some 1.37 billion students in 138 countries worldwide have been affected by school and university closures. Nearly 60.2 million school teachers and university lecturers are no longer in the classroom. When coronavirus restrictions were first imposed in March and April it was at the start of the academic year. It is a new beginning for everyone. But as time goes we all accept this situation. India’s multilayered society has always needed a strong public education system. School teachers have also been impacted immensely. Despite all these difficulties, teachers are playing a significant role during the lockdown.

The big change to school education in the COVID-19   is that the government has announced – digital and online education.   Just as the pandemic has changed the dynamics of learning for students, it has also impacted methods of teaching. During the pandemic situation the schools, colleges, and universities took these challenges in a positive manner and implemented a range of new measures in the education sector. This research focuses on identifying the satisfaction level of the student's towards the online mode of teaching.

The government of India has also opened a new platform called Online Digital Learning during the lockdown period. There are various tools and platforms like zoom, Google hand meet, Google classroom, etc being used in the education sector. As the virus continues to spread and with vaccines anything from a few months to a   few years away, these innovations could become part of the future of learning. Students and teachers are finding innovative new ways to learn safely inside and outside the classroom.
