Mayank Vats, a class IX student of Delhi likes to study by playing games. He prefers learning new things through simulations and practical exercises. Mayank has great interest to learn Coding and has actively attended every workshop of the Coding Session Series organized by Gurushala at the start of year 2021.
To know a bright student and his preferred way of learning is to be a part of a great journey that has just started. Here are a few of Mayank’s views and ideas about his teaching-learning process.
What is your favorite subject and what do you like the most about that subject?
Mathematics gives me a lot of satisfaction and boosts my energy and thinking capacity while studying. I love the number games and can solve problems for hours at a stretch without getting bored. My Mathematics teacher also teaches us various tricks to solve Mathematical sums accurately and with optimum speed.

What is your best learning memory so far?
My best learning memory so far has been going to school and learning new activities and engaging with friends in classroom activities. I miss these activities that we used to participate in while going to school.
What do you wish to become when you are an adult?
I wish to become an engineer when I grow up as I am very much interested in practising Mathematics and learning new things through experiments and practical experiences.
How has Gurushala helped you in your journey as a student?
I have got a lot of help in studying with Gurushala. I participate in various activities of Gurushala and I have also won a prize in one of these activities during the lockdown period. Our live classes on Google Meet and YouTube classes have also helped in doubt clarification and learning new concepts. I have attended the Coding Session Series which I found so useful in creating games from scratch. I have done many experiments on Gurushala and have completed some modules also. Gurushala has been very helpful to me!
