Who is a Role Model? 

A role model is a person whose behavior is imitated by others. There are role models who engage in positive and constructive actions and there are those who have bad habits that can be transferred to anyone who admires that person. Some people lead such negative and destructive lives that they are examples of what not to do.


Children who have good, strong role models to follow have a better chance of developing a positive lifestyle. While everyone may have a different definition of what a good role model is, here are a few with which most people agree.


For many children, the most important role models are their parents and caregivers. Children look up to a variety of role models to help shape how they behave in school, in relationships, or when making difficult decisions. Children also look up to other relatives, teachers, coaches, and peers.


As a parent, it is impossible to not model. Your children will see your example – positive or negative – as a pattern for the way life is to be lived.


Positive Role Model :


Most parents would like their children to grow up to be healthy, happy individuals who show respect and consideration for others. However, many good character qualities cannot be taught, they need to be experienced, which is why positive role models are extremely important.


A good role model will always try to make good decisions about lifestyle choices. The child will notice the positive attitude and get the message that making an effort is more important than perfection.


The best role model of every child's life is"MOTHER ".In my opinion, my mother is the role model of my life. She inspires me and motivates me to grow without any barriers. My mother looked after me, supported me in every part of my life. Right from childhood, she has been with me like my shadow. I have learned many things from my mother, mainly during the covid situation because she was an employee in the health department. She not only helped me whenever I needed but she also taught me to help myself. But all of a sudden I lost my mother in an accident, I really miss her but she taught me to stay strong in any hard situation. 


Finally, Mothers are the best role model in every child's life.
