While digital technology is increasingly common in schools and classrooms but there are some challenges to face in this situation. Many schools are relying even more heavily on the use of digital technology in the classroom. There are many uses of using technology but on the other side, there are many disadvantages of this digital technology.
It takes away the learning time. If the teacher and students are not experienced with digital technology before then valuable time is often wasted on technical troubles. Technology should be used to supplement the classroom curriculum, but should not be used as the sole source of learning.
CHALLENGES FACED IN USING DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY
- students misusing technology.
- Unsuitable home environment for studies.
- External disturbance.
- Time management.
- Missing classroom-based learning.
- Lack of face-to-face interactions.
- Server or network issues.
- Unavailability of smart gadgets.
- Distraction from learning while using smart gadgets.
- Scams like misleading the students through technology.
- By continuous teaching students may get an effect on their mental and physical health.
- Few teachers don’t know how to use the technology. So there will be a lack of content sharing.
- Technology in the class can be a distraction. During a lesson, students are going to be tempted to play instead of listening.
- Technology can faster cheat in class and on assignments. While students have always found ways to cheat, digital technology makes it even easier from copying and pasting someone else work.
- Technology can disconnect students from social interactions. There’s a fear that the more we use technology, the less we’re able to verbally communicate and interact in person.
- By digital classes students can’t clear their doubt properly because there will be a time limit in online classes, one teacher can’t clarify everyone's doubt in a single class. Only a few students gets the opportunity to clarify their doubts and the remaining students should ask their doubts through WhatsApp groups or chat service but every child can’t mention their every doubt through message.

- Parents should co-operate with their children, to give them good home-based learning.
- There should be healthy communication between students and teachers.
- The concept should be shown visually and practical learning experience. It helps students to understand more easily.
