Madhavi Pramod Kashid from Maharashtra is one such teacher who believes in contributing to the overall development of the students. She teaches classes 9-10 using various ways to teach her students. She prefers teaching through videos, images, games, and group activities. Her teaching style involves teaching how to observe nature, help others and be disciplined.

What motivated you to become a teacher?
Our honorable Shikshan Maharshi Dr Bapuji. Salunke’s great work towards students inspired me during my school days. This was my major motivation to become a teacher myself.
What is your best memory so far as a teacher?
My best memory as a teacher has been the moment when I gave a mobile to my students for their online classes. The happiness of the students, their smiles gave me memorable moments.
How were you introduced to Gurushala?
I was introduced to Gurushala through ‘Learning with Vodafone’ and since then, Gurushala has helped me become a tech-savvy teacher and has been an inspiration for me to connect with students.
Gurushala’s sections such as the content library, staffroom are very important. Through Gurushala’s different sections, I get to engage and communicate with teachers all over the country. It will help me become a good teacher. I have participated in the National Teacher Award, Group discussions, Expert discussions etc. organized by Gurushala.
What according to you is a 21st Century Teacher?
A 21st Century Teacher is tech-savvy, understanding towards students, has scientific aptitude and much more. My life motto as a teacher is to make every student a good person so that he/ she can contribute to the betterment of society. I hope to contribute to make this society corruption-free and ideal in the whole world.
