"Fear is the only true enemy, born of ignorance and the parent of anger and hate" - Edward Albert

Introduction

Parenting has three essential components. Firstly, care protects children from harm. Care also encompasses promoting emotional as well as physical health. In this role, you give direction, impose rules, use discipline, set limits, establish and follow through with consequences, hold your children accountable for their behavior, and teach values. You provide the guidance that helps your children to change, grow, and mature. It is also a result of our upbringing. Parental influence on the personality development of any child is highly significant. It decides the kind of adults we grow into. It is important to ensure that parenting style supports the healthy growth and development of the child.

Parental Responsibilities

  • Provide an environment that is SAFE
  • Provide your child with BASIC NEEDS
  • Provide your child with SELF-ESTEEM NEEDS
  • Teach your child MORALS and VALUES
  • Develop MUTUAL RESPECT with your child
  • Provide DISCIPLINE which is effective and appropriate
  • Involve yourself in your child's EDUCATION

Problems:

As we know the parent’s role is very important in a child's life but there are some problems faced by childlike: to begin with, the home environment: if the home environment is not good or always stressful that affect child mental stress or mental health. Going forward to the next point: The parenting behavior or bonding: if the parent is always harsh or rude with a child this also impacts the child's life. Third point: Time managing: if father and mother are working and they don't give time with family or child or busy with phone and computer also if a parent only depends with maid or helpers for her child it also impacts the child mentally.
