Sleep is an essential function for all that allows your body and mind to recharge, leaving you refreshed and alert when you wake up to start your day. During the time of sleep, our bodies repair muscle and our mind stores, organizes and links memories that we accumulate or encounter to in a day.  Also, at the same time hormones that control essential functions in our body are released and regulated in the bloodstream, our immune system is strengthened, and the risk of some of the serious diseases gets reduced.

People of different age groups need different amounts of sleep and at different times in their lives, your sleep time may vary from that of other people.
